Verification of auto insurance in Arizona
Jan Brewer, the Governor of Arizona has implemented a bill which will help in reducing the number of people driving on the road without the required auto insurance for their vehicles. Any person who has been caught more than three times on the road without the required auto insurance papers will have his driving license suspended. He will have to submit papers in court in order to prove his financial credibility before his driving license is returned to him.
The laws of the state of Arizona state that any person should submit adequate proof of his financial credibility and a copy of these documents should be available at all times in the glove compartment of his car. He should be able to show these documents to any traffic patrolman. If he is unable to do so, he could be charged with a fine which could vary anywhere between $500-$1000. The amount of the fine will be dependent on whether the offender is a first time, second time or a third time offender. The driving license of the person as well as the registration of his car could be suspended for an indefinitely long period of time. A first time offender could be suspended for a period of three months while a third time offender could be suspended for a period as long as one year.
Over one hundred and twenty insurance agents comprise the Arizona Agent’s alliance and they have whole heartedly seconded the implementation of this bill. According to the alliance, it is mandatory that certain steps should be undertaken in order to reduce the number of people driving their cars on the roads of Arizona without the required auto insurance papers and other forms of documentation. This will also help in taking care of those people who keep committing the same traffic offences time and again despite receiving many warnings. This will also help in ensuring that every person stays financially as well as legally responsible.
According to the latest rules and regulations, magistrates in the state of Arizona have been vested with the authority of digging into the past driving track records of every person in order to find out further details of the various traffic offences which have been committed by them. All the records will be kept updated so that the magistrate will know when the person has been warned more than three times for committing an offence. In certain cases, a first offence will be treated as a simple mistake or an oversight or whether the person has been committing the same offence repeatedly despite being warned. When there are specific guidelines with regard to suspension of driving licenses and charging of fines, people will stay alert and exercise more caution so that they do not commit more offences.
The President of the Arizona Agent alliance has applauded the implementation of the latest bill by the Governor and stated that this will help in protecting the interests as well as safety of many people who drive on the roads in a safe manner and also follow all the safety rules and regulations.
